So I was camping this weekend with some family and I got a Tigrosa aspersa (Tiger Wolf spider). I rescued it from my uncle. He hates spiders and almost smashed this one. I put it in a container and brought it home and set it up with an enclosure. Sure is a pretty looking wolf spider.

I don’t thinks it’s aspersa but it is definitely in the Tigrosa genus. Probably wrong that it’s not aspersa.

Diagonal leg span, so from the tip of the front leg across to the tip of the back leg on the opposite side.:)
2 inches, you've got a big spider there!! :)
Yep. Can't tell if it's male or female but it's a big one. There used to be a time where just the sight of a spider like this would have kept me awake at night. Now I'm saving it from being smashed and bringing it home.

We're did your uncle get it? Was it just wandering around in the camper or tent? Gotta love spiders...never know where they will turn up...and this one is awesome...great camoflage!
