and just to make myself feel ****tier I'm pretty certain its my own fault it died. About 4 days ago I replaced its water dish as a cricket died in there, then when I went to add water to their cages aday later I noticed it was completely empty leaving me to believe I forgot to refill it!!
I do that with the tiny little slings, like 1/4" or less. I have a water dish in the LP's home and i mist the side it's on to "fill" it. It's really in there for when it grows a bit bigger and i won't need to mist the side. My B. Vagans didn't get a water dish until his last molt and now he's just over 1/2" and has a dish. Until he molted i also misted his wall. It was neat to see him drink from the water droplets on the wall.Slings can go for a long time (relatively anyway ) without water. My slings don't get water bowls and get misted every week or so. Haven't lost one yet!
