Things to do with molts

Just wanted to share a couple of ideas for molts. 1st is for those first molt moments (A. Versicolor) 2nd is what to do with a massive molt (A. Geniculata)

They're great ideas but my big ones moults are never so tidy :)

These are great ways to keep them, my wife will not let me keep molts any more though. I always put them ether on top of the enclosure or on the desk, she comes home and thinks one got out ever time I end up putting them places. I do not mean to scare her it is just habit to most of the time keep them one the enclosure of the one they came from.

I keep all of mine but each T has a container with all of its moults in, all kept in a big box

mounting a mount in a frame looks very nice. Waiting for my job smithi sling to get big enough to mount its moot and put it somewhere as decor.

But admit it, there is a part of you that finds it funny when she gets scared.....lol

No i have a friend that is scared to death of them though, when he comes in and fells at the sight of it I find it funny. But not when my wife is scared cuase of it.

I'd do the molt on top and record it just for the moment ;)

My son and I keep all molts from all of our Ts to go back and compare sizes for his research project. If we get a decent one when they get larger he'll pin it for the project. We're hoping to get a good one of each species to pin, but he'll probably be graduated from high school before the smallest slings are large enough to pin.
