And I was right. The T is on back and the molt begins.

My scariest moment for my C. Versicolor was when it (sex unknown) was seemingly stuck mid molt, as I saw it was just clearing the chelicerae from it's old exoskele. I went to my 8 hour shift with a fifteen min trip to and from and came back to it having made little progress. I was nervous, I tapped it's webbing with my tongs to check if it was even alive. I decided to give it water just to see if it would do anything. To my surprise, my T actually drank some water and seemed to get a second wind. I was elated. My versi did come out of that one with a Grinch foot on one leg, but was normal after its molt.
