Tarantula has had a cricket in her mouth for 2 days...

Creature is a full grown rose hair tarantula. There was one cricket left in her cage yesterday and around noon she caught it and started eating it. I noticed the cricket is still in her mouth and it is now 5:30pm the next day. Is this normal? The cricket was no bigger than she usually eats.

I love my Sonja, but I can never tell if today is an ignore-the-human day or an attack-the-water-bowl day...

Haha mine seems pretty normal so far The only thing i've noticed is she used to not care about me handling her, and lately she wants nothing to do with me. But hey, she's a spider not a puppy.

I guess the only logical answer must be that the cricket is really delicious and she wants to enjoy her food...

Nah. Dont worry - some of my T's spend only a few hours to finish eating, while others spend over a day.

..but like dalilah said..it is a rosie so who knows? hehe
