Tarantula acting abnormal

I've noticed some of mine get restless and climb a little in premolt...not excessively though. I use moist substrate for both my genics, they love it. But I also let it dry out, I don't keep them moist constantly. Changes in humidity and temp will cause them to climb as well.

I let the sub dry out. then mist a corner once or twice a week. His butt is almost jet black now so it's probably the premolt climbing he's doing. I checked on them this morning doing water dishes and he's down in his burrow again and had a little digging going on. Once again i'm jumping the gun thinking something is wrong
