How big is it now?

My P.irminia, Falcon, moulted yesterday. I've not seen it yet though. I've had Falcon for 7 months and in that time it has moulted 4 times and grown quite a lot so I can't wait to see how much it's grown this time.

My O. sp Blue Panay, Taal, has moulted today but I've not seen it yet so I have no idea of size or colour change unfortunately. It last moulted exacly one month ago today.

I've had my OBT, O. sp. Cebu, and P. cambridgei molt this week! Been a nice week. Especially since my Cebu got its missing leg back. Smaller and weaker, but it's there! :D

@PamCz Yes my 2 have grown about 1'' with each moult. From 1'' when they came to 6''+ in 11 months and 5 moults each.

Sorry to but in on this feed, but rather than start my own, this title of the subject seemed appropriate! My b. Smithi abdomen has gone real bald, with black marks all over it, it actually looks like a acorn!! Is this completely normal or is it heading for molt??

Was just looking at this again... My B. smithi used to get a really bald, skin colored butt like this when I first got her, at about 1.5", but she's molted twice since then, and her butt didn't get like this before her last molt. Rather, it stayed haired, mostly, with some bald patches that filled in blue/black as she got closer to the molt. I remember this stage as being alarming, also, like you, thinking she looked like an overstuffed tick! ....or an acorn. I lol'd at acorn, btw. :)

And this thread is the perfect place for you to ask your question about molting! No butting in! No worries! ;)

Acorn is the first thing that come into my head, strangely , ye its butt has alarmed me, but it's eating fine, never hiding away, quiet social able for a t!!

But if your unsure,I guess, this place is we're to ask!!

I guess all noobs get a little worried, when starting, once you've had 3 or 4, you tend to just relax and let it be, I'm still at that noob stage

Yes, aren't we ALL, a little. There's always something to ask, eh?

I'm still a noob, too...but I have 26 T's, so my learning curve is a little more steep -- like up to 5 molts a week! lol Only been T keeping since beginning of March. The ppl here are great for these kinds of questions! Every now and again, it's something I've seen & I know the answer..haha. Yay for learning...
