Hi guys
So today my curly haired had its first Molt since getting her or him. I was so excited lol like a big kid i can’t wait for for her/him to come out properly so can have a good look at the growth size. Could any one help me ? Was wondering would they pull the molt out of the den them selfs or will I have to get it out my self ? Going to leave it a week before even offer any food as I read that need to let fangs and the exoskeleton harden as they are vulnerable at this stage. Any info would be much appreciated.

Yes, in most cases, tarantulas will toss their molts out. Some however have the annoying habit of eating their molts. When it comes time to rehouse, you may find pieces of molt strewn throughout the burrow.

Hello. Ive had about 6 molt so far. A couple literally chucked it out as soon as they could move especially my A Geniculata who manhandled it out of her tunnel asap! and the rest kind of ignored it or bundled it into a corner. I fished the molts out with tweezers when the spider had hardened up if I could easily reach them. I find them fascinating.
