Have any keepers noticed any particular similarities or differences between their baumgarteni and boehmeis that are notable? The spiders are in the same genus, have similar looks, and are from close locations in their natural ranges. I've heard boehmeis have a somewhat famous temperament and wondered if that applies to baumgartenis as well.
I ask partially because I love how boehmeis look, but can't currently justify getting one if they're as hair-kicky as people say (I have several cats and don't want the urticating hairs in the air, just in case), and I've seen baumgartenis look similar... I'd love to find out baumgartenis are more relaxed. That said, I am also genuinely curious: what are the behaviorial and scientific differences between them? What have y'all noticed in your own experiences with them?
