So i recently purchased 3 P. Regalis, two that ware 3-4" and one that is quite smaller (1.5-2"). I understand that females lose the dark stripe down their abdominal at maturity. I am just wondering if there should be a difference in the stripe PRE-maturity. All three of these T's have a same dark strip at the moment. Do the females lose the color during the final molt or is there a noticeable build up in discoloration?>

This is the current coloration of all three T's. The two larger ones have vivid yellow and blue on their under legs (One is currently in pre-molt).

A moult is the best way to sex them, but that one is looking female from the dorsal pic.
I have seen one with a totally white folio mature into a huge MM before though.
