Question Regarding Prevention of Deaths While Molting

some people believe that fat abdomens can make for some difficult molts. I dunno. In my 6 years, with a small sample size, I have had 2 bad molts. One may have been a bit rotund.

I supply them with a lot of water to drink when I spot that they are in premolt so that they can get plenty of internal fluids inside of them to molt or something, my ts seem pretty thirsty whenever a molt approaches.
This is key IMO. I would advise just keeping a full water dish in the enclosure at all times. This is very informal but if you look around the various forums and groups many times the people that have issues with their T's molting are those that have stated they do not use water dishes. Of course you can do absolutely everything right and still have issues but why risk creating problems that you don't have to?
