I have an adult G. rosea and she has taken the substrate and build walls at the entrances to her hide, fully enclosing her self in. Is this okay, and what is she doing?

Well she finally came out of her cave, she dug a tunnel out the back through about 2" of substrate. She has now webbed the entire enclosure, including all the living plants. She now comes out at night and hunts (which is really cool to watch) she's no longer interested in being handled, she's acting like a wild Tarantula. I'm so glad she's a happy spider.

Sounds like you're doing something right! That definitely sounds like a happy T! Nice work! Can we see some photos of her and her web?

Here's a couple pictures of my happy happy happy G. rosea. This is the furthest I could coax her out of her cave.
