I got a macro attachment for Christmas and had to try it out on the Ts of course. Getting to grips with the manual focus and short focal length isn't the easiest, especially with dogs and kids running around near you, lol.

I always wanted to be able to take good pictures, even bought a fancy Cannon DSLR to do it. But I never had the patience to play with all the different settings.

It looks like you are off to a good start!

Thanks!
When I first got my Canon DSLR I was stumped by how you actually have to work for good pictures, lol, not like my Fujifilm Finepix where you basically just point and shoot. I also didn't realise that paying out lots of money for the body doesn't leave enough for decent lenses straight away.
I'm still cheating by mainly using the Auto program and autofocus function and really should read into ISO, shutter speed, Focal blah blah settings (still can't take decent nightscape photos), but it's soo much to learn and I'm lazy, lol.

I get too frustrated too quickly to sit and play with all the settings. I like the point and shoot style cameras, pictures aren't as nice but my patience stays intact!

what camera are you currently using to take these shots?
Hi there,
I use a Canon EOS 1100d body (couldn't afford a better body). Unfortunately my macro attachment doesn't fit on my current favourite lens (EFS 18-200mm II), but only on my EFS 55-250mm which originally is a telezoom and not good for close-ups. My actual Macro lens (Tamron something) is rubbish, the motor way to slow, the autofocus only works half the time and even with manual focus the pictures come out blurry.

Thank you. I have been looking at DSLRs for years and with adding Ts into my life my need and want to for a DSLR is increasing. I am however looking at something like the Nikon D5200.

Keep trying with the pictures, it will take many shots of the same image until you get the perfect shot. Which is difficult with some of the Ts that dont like flashes of light
