Hey you guy's I'm the new kid on the block trying to soak up all the info I can from you guys. What started out as me catching the biggest spider I ever seen at work. Then buying my first tarantula at a reptile show just as a after thought is quickly becoming a obsession with me. I find myself with 6 T's trying to double that number real quick. All helping information and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the welcome. So far I have a pair of Rose hairs, a Texas Brown, Haitian brown bird eater, Thailand tiger, pink toe, and today brought a pair of OBT's, a rear horn baboon and a Trinidad olive from a Bk bug bug off off here. Real cool dudes. What I would love to get next would be a Chaco golden knee, Mexican fire leg and a Brazilian black and white

That's quite a diverse collection you've got there, just be carefull with the OBTs their going to be faster than anything else you have thus far and you don't want to get tagged off one of them, also the avic is care sensitive there's not alot of room for error with their husbandry if you need any advice on these just ask there's plenty to be had on the forum.

Welcome!
I currently have the next three on your list and they are all great choices. The a. geniculata been a blast. Fast growing, excellent eater, and so much attitude for such a small sling. You'll find as you grow with the hobby that learning the scientific names is very helpful. The common names are muddled with confusion.

Welcome to the forum! Nice mix of Ts you have acquired. I agree with HungryGhost on using the scientific names. I find myself looking up "common" names to know what species is being discussed. +1 Ghost on the OBT advice, I personally don't have nor want this species in my collection. But do keep S. calceatum, a wickedly "fast" semi-arboreal, that IMO are gorgeous!!
Again, welcome aboard BK-Jay and "do" ask questions. We are here to help.
Happy T'ing.

Thanks for the welcome guys, and Ghost thanks for the advice on my avic. I did some research and I was housing him wrong. Changed it all up first thing in the morning. Good to be here with people who have so much more knowledge in the hobby.

Well I have added a psalmopeus irminia aka Venezuelan Suntiger to my collection. Bringing my number of T's up to 12. Could someone share a good site to order a few T's from. Still in the market for three more quickly
