Just switched Sanka to a larger cage...I found a super convenient Sterlite container for less than $6, my dad drilled some lovely holes in it and the result was great! I will never buy cages from a pet shop again, haha. Now hoping to do the same thing for my smithi. Anyway, I got a couple of pics. I need to get a hideaway but that will come later. Sanka seems to love the extra space! :)

Your're going to need a lot more holes for ventilation. Otherwise your humidity will be to high. Otherwise perfect.

I have a total of 18 holes right now...about how many more do you think would be ideal?

Drill out the top. Holes on the side are good for species that require humidity, it allows ventilation and maintains humidity. However id you want it to dry out you need holes up top.
