need help with species

Its a versicolor. I have no idea how this can be confused with an H. mac.

Tarantulas are not aggressive, they are defensive, in this instance the spider thought of the glass as a threat, and tried to defend itself.

Otherwise, it looks like a new world avicularinae sp, the blueish color means it is probably Caribena versicolor or laeta, probably versi as it's more common.
i was reading more into that species as it has more of that similarity on its coloring. well the more i compare it to the versicolor caribena it’s come to my conclusion it’s that species unless my friend is able to get the contact number i can call and ask directly instead of assuming the species

Yea silicone is safe to use inside the enclosure if thats what your wondering... You would have to take the T out and apply the silicone the let it dry/cure and let the smell dissipate then you could move the T back in

it enjoyed its temporary forever home until its big enough i have to rehome it though i believe a better way i won’t destroy its webbing everytime i have to fill its water cup
