Think thats a full adult @Pyrocke,

The juveniles i saw look nothing like hers, but I bow to the experts as I haven't a clue, just know its a pretty thing :D

Second pic now means I am not thinking avic but that's as far as my experience takes me I am afraid. Don't be upset......, you a) had a great valentines gift from someone who obviously cares for you and embraces your passion (believe me that is rare) and b) the spider is still gorgeous!
I know you want to make sure the husbandry is correct but most arboreal in my experience tend to be ok with a general temp/humidity range. Usually a bit higher on both than terrestrial.
I got a pair of underpants for Valentines so I reckon you did well hun Any name yet?......As this is your "Ghost" how about Marley. (From a Christmas Carol I know but at least has a ghost theme to it)..or Casper....only if he/she is friendly :)

Phil you're correct I did get a beautiful T and I am happy- I am reading all the comments now and trying to play catch up as I am at work- and nope I haven't named her yet but I am working on it ;)

Ah. I see. The one Phil posted looks the most like hers, so I'm going to cast my final, official (unexpert/unexperienced) vote as that one.

It's a cool spider, so I wouldn't be upset, but how in hell does a Psalmo get sold as a Poeci? I keep running into these threads, I just don't understand it. Let us know if you get any feedback from the breeder Stace. Anyone we know? Not that I'm forming an angry mob or anything..just curious :)

Wrongly labeled vial from the person that the person at the store got it from? IDK, but I agree.

some lady named Vikki that owns a reptile store in my area - she hasn't been in for me to call her and ask about breeder info- but I plan to stop by after work and try and get some details- it also looks like the T molted maybe 2 or 3 weeks prior to receiving her

@@SasyStace.....look familiar?. @@syzygy may have pulled that one out the bag for you? Certainly a candidate. As is psalmo irminia.

Phil's P. irminia is also a good suggestion. The males and females of this genus look quite different. Found this image of a male through google search.

See I have a P. Irminia and I have raised him since sling and he's now a full grown mature male- they look similar but there are some very big differences like Hooks and Chevrons and my male Irminia rarely eats anymore and hides all the time- this one I have is tiny-has no hooks- has no chevrons on his legs and is actually pretty active... sooooo I just don't know

Yeah I've got an irminia as well, I don't think its an irminia. It does look like a Psalmopoeus though. You never know, the way things go it may end up being a female, your favorite spider, and the only Psalmo in the world that sits in the open all the time:) For the longest time my favorite was a freebie curly that came with my P metallica. She's still in my top ten favorites, scoring high numbers for her messy hairdo and queenly unconcern for my presence.

It's just upsetting to me that my fiance who knows nada about the hobby was sold the wrong T- what did he pay for? how old is it? ya know? she even tried telling him something crazy like the T has only molted twice :| Really lady? honestly when I opened my gift at first I thought he got me a Mature Male Irminia - if it wasn't for the lack of markings, size (she's still small) and hooks that is what I would have thought it most resembles.

If I could find like minded people in my area I would consider a group meeting once a week or once a month to get together and share our passion but I never see or hear of anything like that
I thought CA is where most of T people are, really, at least in the States. I don't know of anyone super active in MA. My most used and closest contacts are CT and NY and that's a hefty 3 hour drive either direction.

I have found a few people in CA but none are interested in doing a meet up (which is really upsetting me hahahahahaha)
