Yes the regalis communal setup, had 6 originally one matured male died off naturally. Now again one mature male, seems very fertile mated all females so far and still kicking haha. Hopefully something I'd like to see happen,a female being gravid dropping an egg sack withing the setup. As for GBB's,mine will make a huge webbing deciding to stay above the ground level of even bet if I add more decor she will go higher.
Lol he's a busy boy!!! Here's to a hopefully busy grandpa too! :)

I hope so too, just hate the fact of the short time they live even though I know this.

lol, I was referring to you as the grandpa :) However, I know what you mean about that loss. I have tried hard to stay away from housing males for that reason. And one of my FAVORITE critters to house are Mantids, but the reason I have not had one yet is because their life expectancy is only about a year. From what I've witnessed and researched and talked to some breeders about, they behave very much like dogs, if you can imagine that, and I've witnessed this behavior myself once while camping. Had a visit from one and when I put it back in the bushes low and behold ten minutes later same critter was crawling up my arm again and remained there happily cleaning itself for the rest of the night. Le sigh..

Woke up to a nice surprise this morning, though. Ta dataaaaaaa! Jewel was in the middle of a molt around midnight last night and checking on her this morning she was sleeping comfortably behind the log she's designated as "home"! so creepy looking though... she's got like a gazillion legs in this picture :)

Ah what a nice surprise ! Every successful molt is a plus, and how they change and grow and we witness is that's a privilege.
