Mites?

It looks like there are small white bugs crawling on the bark log. I am assuming these are mites. If they are how should I treat the enclosure? Should I go get some of that mite off stuff I have seen in the stores? I have a juvenile rose hair in a 6x6x6 cube with Eco earth. Is it possible these came from the crickets? I have had the Rose hair abs enclosure for about a month and they just seemed to appear this week. Thanks for your help!

Mite eggs do tend to come in on crickets. How big is the T? If you let the enclosure dry out a bit and stick a small shallow water dish in there they will be attracted to the moisture in the dish and float on the surface, you can then just dump em down the drain, rinse and repeat untill their gone.

I tried taking a picture. These things are very very small like a speck of fine dust. You can't see them in the picture. The T is about 2 inches now.

At 2" you can keep a rosea on bone dry sub with a water dish. Mites wont be an issue then. Also it looks like your substrate has twigs and stuff in it, these can cause injuries if your T falls on them. I'd recommend using eco-earth or any brand of coco fiber

Thanks! The substrate is a mix of Zoo Med forest floor and Eco-earth. I plan on switching it out to be all Eco-Earth. The substrate is dry and I do have a water dish.
