So we bought some crickets yesterday and when i put a couple in the tank, 1 immediately started to molt. It was under the T's log molting and came out a few minutes later all fresh and new, stumbled directly in front of the T and got snatched up, lol.. i felt so bad because he just molted and didnt have a chance to do.. well, anything, haha. heres the video my oldest son took of the crickets last few seconds.

I must try to video my OBT next time! Last week i gave her her biggest ever cricket, put it at the entrance of her log where it got stuck in her web, she burst through her 'dirt curtain' like a big cat would catch prey, substrate flying everywhere! Later on she casually strolled out and dumped the remains, then went back in to her log and started preening. She is the most amazing spider, totally awesome creature :)

I have a couple that don't leave anything behind...I figure mostly because they are smaller crickets to begin with. Nothing to worry about if you don't find them, just take them out if you do :)

Oh wow! Lol. I didn't even know they molted til a few months ago. I bought like 5 of them and looked in and saw what appeared to be 4 regular ones and a white one and what I thought was a dead one. I freaked out like wtf is that white thing that killed a cricket! Haha. It was its old skin but I didnt know that.
