Mature male?

Are these boxing gloves? Is Amelia a man? :p

I have never had a mature male before ahaha so I am unsure. If it is a mature man, how much longer can I expect him to live? Avicularia avicularia species.

Thanks for the confirmation. I am not entirely sure as he must have left the moult in his hide; before I noticed the boxing gloves the only reason I assumed he must have moulted was because he came out looking really skinny then didn't eat for a while. So a rough guess would be maybe within the last month.
