People are always asking me why tarantulas? I tell them they are fascinating, so different from us. Or someone will be going on about how nasty/scary a spider is. I try to peek their curiosity with a one-liner, something like this....

Did you know tarantulas don't have eye lids?

Or

Tarantulas are very fragile creatures, a short fall can kill them.

Share your one line facts with me here. Please?

It is impossible to be allergic to tarantula venom because the venom doesn't have enough protein to cause an allergic reaction.
