If you have pin head cricket or fruit fly, the care for them is simple. As they live in house all the time, I would not keep it to humid but do keep the soul moist. They like dark moist places. Give it plenty of places to hide, as it will want to run and hide every time the light comes on. An make sure there is something in the tank for her to make a home. All though if you found it wondering it is probably a male looking for a mate and may not live to much longer. If it is a female at this time of year it may also be graved. So you may want to watch her for signs of that. I wish you luck if you chose to keep it.

I am keeping a few house spiders in deli cups for grins and giggles - I am not sure of the species specifically, but they are not either widow or recluse by visual identification.

I feed them 1x pinhead rusty red a week and use an eye dropper to add moisture to their "enclosures" twice a week - no substrate, just hard bottom with some leaf litter.

While this may not be very humane, it is an experiment in husbandry for a common house spider that has proven rather successful - so far. YMMV

BTW, welcome to the forum :)

Okay, I'll think about it :) Thank you so much! I heard that it's so dangerous too

There bite will not normally hurt some one to the point of death if they are healthy, but you will be sick for a while and may also wish that it would kill you, That is how sick you get.

The black widow bite is of neurotoxin, it is so potain though that it has a sup class that a few of the widow spider have called latrotoxins. The name latrotoxin comes from the genus of the spiders that have the venom.
