Hello everyone, I was thinking of getting my first tarantula, the main problem being that for my job I will be required to move to England for 3-4 months in 2022, and I don’t know if the tarantula will be allowed on the plane (I live in Italy) nor if the traveling process could cause harm to it. So I was wondering if it would be better to wait another year to get my T.

Not sure what laws are in place in both countries, as well as airline regulations, that said I would wait if I were you.

My guess would be. Now the UK has left the EU, moving any animal / creature between the UK & mainland Europe will be tougher. I know I recently read that the rules for dogs had just got tougher.

It looks like any Invertebrate will need a Pet Health Certificate, which you will need for each individual journey & which needs to be acquired, no more than 10 days before travelling.
