Help. (premolt or sick??)

I would mist the cage fairly well and dampen the substrate (from your pic, it looks kinda dry in there). Avicularia are prone to molt issues in dry conditions. I've had quite a few do that. The humidity helps them out of their exoskeleton by softening it.....kinda like the same way we use water to often up an exoskeleton to sex the molt. :)

Thanks and I have a humidifier with a tube to his setup and I got it at like 85 percent humidity in there all the time so do I still need to mist on top of that not tring argue or anyting I just trying to make sure cause thats my first t

Oh no that should be fine....i didnt pay attention to that....i was only looking at the condition of the environment....it appears dry in there...and you are doing an awesome job if this is your first T. :)

This is a very late reply, but I have heard about them, and what I heard was not very good. So many better places to buy tarantulas from. I hear they take the same approach as slackwater.

Tarantula forum and I'm looking at getting a Goliath whiteknee but before I get one do u know if a reg size cricket container from a pet store would be good of I got it as a sling

If its the size of a deli cup or a 55 dram vial then yes. They like to burrow as slings...and this IS tarantula forum, lol. Arachnoboards is the one with a bad name....

If u have 1 sling I personally wouldn’t get fruit flies. If your using crickets already you can feed slings cricket legs or cut cricket into smaller pieces. They will scavenge
