Hi I'm new to the hobby it has been about 18 days since I have got my first Tarantula. I think he's on pre-molt cause he won't eat and his abdomen is getting bigger. Also my dad found him on the side of the road and I don't live anywhere near the grand Chaco so it was strange, after 30 minutes me and my family came to the conclusion that the tarantula escaped from his tank somehow survived for an uncertain amount of time in a small patch of Philippine forest, and then when we got home we discovered that he was missing the tip of his rear left leg and he's going strong can you guys help me calculate his age. Anyways thanks! (I will provide more info if anyone asks) Bye.
