Hi yall, new to the forum but read a lot already as a non-member, for the last 20 years I have been big into salt water aquariums with 3 tanks going now. I have always wanted a T and didn't know how to get permission from my wife so I did my research and purchased a Brazilian White knee ( Acanthoscurria Geniculata ) sling then broke the news of the new pet a few weeks later. hahaha lets just say she was a bit mad. I showed it to her and the size of the sling really put her mind at ease took her from a 12 to a 6 in anger ;) little does she know how big they get  I hope in time she will trust this will not get out of the enclosure and maybe I can get more. very fun hobby so far and pretty crazy how much growth difference they are after molt.

Hello and welcome. :) I'm sure you'll soon have many more once your wife realises how fascinating Ts can be.

Welcome aboard, CoWebs!

I spent some time in Fort Collins recently, and will be going back in the spring - loved that place!

I went from planted tanks to tarantulas, the dry tanks are so much easier than the wet ones.

Welcome to the forum, and the hobby, and the joys of marriage - always them them they look amazing if they ask.
