I’m just getting started with this hobby after many YouTube videos from the tarantula collective, the dark den, toms big spiders and others.....
I decided to get my first tarantula I found a local breeder and I have had my g. Pulchripes sling for 3 days I gave it a pre killed small cricket yesterday and I gave some water by dripping it on a small piece of moss the day before At first it stayed buried but after I put the cricket in with it, it has been crawling around and this morning it had climbed to the top.

Welcome to the forum & the hobby. My wife has a pulchripes, they are beautiful T's & a little faster growing than other Gramostolas, so slowish, rather than sloooooow.

Get ready for a big spider :D. G. pulchripes get rather large. One of the larger species, they can get around 8" leg span and are a beauty. Not as slow growing as a G. rosea or a G. pulchra but definitely a slower growing spider.
