Hi there. My name is Genna and i just got a new baby. A pink toed tarantula named Mountain Dew. I got her (i think her) at the reptile con this weekend. She seems to be enjoying her new home. Has been eating crickets and some webbing. So glad there is a place I can talk to others about Dew when i need advise. I also have a leopard gecko named fluffy the destroyer and a chihuahua named brodie. Dew got her name from hopping around when i first held her.

Thank you. Anyone that sees her thinks she pretty and fluffy. Only a few have witnessed why she is named Mountain Dew hehehe

Very beautiful spider. I'm not going to give you an anti-handling speech, however I'm assuming you've done some basic research before acquiring the spider, so you're probably aware that they're not good pets for handling. Anyway, enjoy your tarantula and your time here.

I handle my baby as well. I don't handle her everyday as this may cause unwanted stress but I do want her to be acclimated to being around humans
