Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi as a new member. After being fascinated with tarantulas for around 10 years (yet no so much with true spiders... Weird huh?) I am FINALLY going to be getting my first T next week, an A.Avicularia! I'm soooo excited it's unreal! I have done my homework and have been reading the Tarantula bible (The Tarantulas Keeper Guide) but any advice on this species feel free to make your input.

Thanks! Yeah I've just got one of those Exo Terra enclosures through the post. It's got a screen top lid, ventilation holes at the front and 3 small ones at the back, plenty of ventilation
I kept my A. avic in the same style ExoTerra and she did great in there! This is such a neat species. Enjoy her!

This is it's final setup, I think it looks pretty cool. Think I'll upgrade the size though eventually
