My wife (T.Hapsic) and I have been lurking here for a few weeks now and thought it was time to say hi. Our addiction started last Christmas when my kids received a G. porteri sling from their aunt. Since then we have added two Avicularia avicularia (2 1/2" and 3"), 3/4" A. versicolor, 3/4" A. diversipes, 3" B. albopilosum, a 1/2" B. smithi, a 1/2" G. pulchripes, 3/4" G. pulchra, and an 1 3/4" Hapalopus sp. Columbia. The ones not photographed are currently hiding in burrows or webs. We will be adding to our collection whenever we can =). I'm pretty sure a GBB is next on the list.
We joined this forum because it seems like a far more welcoming environment (especially for relative newbies)than another that we frequent for info. We both look forward to taking part in the discussions here and you can be sure that we will be picking the brains of the more experienced keepers frequently lol.
