I am a total beginner when it comes to keeping tarantulas. I was given a "Nhandu Chromatus" in January at the Anaheim Reptile Show. I feel like I have been doing the best I can for this little one, but I am always open to suggestions on ways to improve. I am hoping to learn more from all of you!

hello and welcome to the group. You look to have things right, substrate looks good, cross ventilation in the enclosure is good, I think I can see a shelter too which is good, water dish as well which is good (maybe a slightly smaller one for now) but apart from that looks like you are doing a great job. :)

Yes, there is a small piece of cork bark! I am using a water bottle lid for the water dish. I will find something smaller asap! Thank you :)

Welcome! :T:

Nice setup. Start a "journal" thread about your little fellow in the General Tarantula Discussion section when you get a chance. We love pictures!

Check out this video on keeping slings, it's super informative for first time T-keepers by @Tomoran
Okay I will definitely do that.
Just watched that video! Going to check out part 2 now. Thank you
