Hi everyone!

First time tarantula owner! (Brazilian Blue who I’ve named Tallulah)

I have a life long debilitating fear of spiders (like hyperventilation level fear) which I am working on. Hoping that learning about spiders and having to care for one will help me in the long run. Anyone else here a former arachnophobe?

Sure I’ll learn loads from everyone here!

You'd be amazed how many of us are recovering arachnophobes including myself. I got my first T to help me overcome my fear and now have around 80.

Thank you! Oh wow I’m learning quickly how addictive it is, already eyeing up others! Going to wait til I get a bit more comfortable with this one though. My brother and his partner have Ts too though so they’ve been helping me out

Add some sticks or branches ascending into the air as anchor points, they are quite the webbers
