Hello all. I am fairly new to tarantula keeping. my wife had a Chilean rose hair a few years back and we also have kept a couple of scorpions that are native here in Utah. I am not sure of the exact species. currently I do not have any T's but I am interested in starting out with a few soon. some of the old world species have caught my eye. there is a reptile show coming up next month and there always seems to be a few up for sale.

Unless you've been keeping fast-moving/ defensive species and have experience dealing with them, then Old worlds are a no-No ;)

thanks all, I am aware that the OW species have their own set of challenges. there are actually several species both OW and NW that I am interested in keeping and hopefully breeding some day.
