If you are in the UK there's a lady thats a taxidermist and specialise in tarantulas - I believe the company name is 'dead set' if you google it? You need to put it in the freezer for now though if you want to preserve it in anyway as it will deteriorate very quickly otherwise -

I can't speak from my own experience, but here's some ideas that you might consider. I've seen pricey insects sold in gift shops as paper weights that look very good. I think that they were in clear liquid acrylic. There's probably other methods too. Start here and do a YouTube search. Here's a diy instructional. I would practice on something you don't mind messing up before trying it on your pet. Like anything, there's going to be a learning curve before you get good at it.Hi all I've just joined today.
