Hello,

I just had a question for any experienced collectors in regards to the G.rosea. what is the lifespan? I've heard 10,15,20, even 30 plus years ? Is any of this true? Help me out spider people.

Thanks

P.s. Here is mine

From my understanding...we haven't yet had female Rosies die from old age yet. I know of one that is 30 years old and another that is minimum 40.

That is insane, you are the second person to tell me that they reach 40 that's so cool. So I really shouldn't have to worry right? Humidity is 65 to 75 and temperature is usually 75 to 82. Is that ok?

Just to clarify the spider is at least 40. Not minimum life span :)

Biggest thing I'd worry about is an 18 month fast:eek:

Temps seem good. I just go by whether I am comfortable. High 60s is probably fine too. I don't even consider humidity when it comes to tarantulas. Unless it's a theraphosa or something that would require a higher humidity. Or avicularia or Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens that like it bone dry.
