Very very nice, love the choices hope you have a lot of fun time with them. Just a suggestion, when feeding tear off the crickets head. I've seen avics die due to the cricket eating them, so please watch for this.
Oh really! Ok i guess you mean small crickets cos the micros are like fleas! How do i get them to take a dead one? Do i leave it on the ground and they smell it or have i got to dangle it infront of them??
All the ts have been fed now. Ive put three micro crickets in with the curly hair and guyana as the curlys just sat under her little bit of bark and the guyana waders everywere and ive put five in with the purple pink toe as she seems to just hide right up in the lid and im worried she wont find food. I dunno how id danle food in front of her cos as soon as the lid is open shes out and about everywere. While i was putting her food in she found a nice bit of bark to sit on under the watchfull eye of the lady. Heres a pic
I cant seem to spot any mirco crickets but i dunno if the ts have ate them or not. I get some more crickets on tuesday so i think ill dicect a few and try that. Im sure if i make sure theres a regular food supply they wont starve. Well i hope not any way as giving food straight to them might be abit difficult as speedy as she now known (purple pinky) just comes straight out and does laps around me as soon as i open the lid lol
My versicolor also did the same, as soon as i opened the lid she just came running out. so I turned my container around and put my peat in the lid . so now when i want to feed her I just open up the container, pop in the cricket or roach and closes it. she just sits at the top of the container totally undisturbed and then she will jump on the food and catch it.
