Looks female to me. Get a needle and just see if that bit flaps forwards.

I had to wait for the molt to dry a bit to see the circled area more clearly, but you are right -- I used a needle to move the flap forward, and it looks definitely like a spermathecae. Thank you for the help!
No problem! I find a macro lens helps :)
Also, if you hold the molt infront of a lightbulb, the spemathecae is usually darker and more defined
