I have just picked up my very first tarantula today! I've always loved all bugs, spoods and animals... and it took until age 37 to realize I can own one.

I've done a ton of research... but I trust the word of experience over Wikipedia any day, so if anyone has any advice it will all be taken appreciatively!!!

I am already in love with him (or her) and want him to be the healthiest and most content that he can be!!

I took a good look at your baby and it looks so much like my baby and they're not even the same species. I love the little black behinds they have when they're little kids. Mine is named Jessica. She is a 3/4 inch Lasiodorides policuspulatas
