Purchased first tarantula last week. It molted almost immediately, last Wednesday. Unfortunately, the abdomen portion of the molt was in poor condition, so I had no luck trying to find out if I have a boy or a girl. However, I've read that it may be possible to determine sex by examining the "epigastric furrow" or "epiandrous fusallae." I'm apparently not very good at it; despite reading every article I can find, I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

Probably this question comes up a lot, but I appreciate any opinions!
