First Baboon suggstions..

I'm ready to challenge myself a bit more in the hobby and it's time for my first baboon T. I do already have other OW so that's not an issue. I am just wanting suggestions from others on a good starter baboon genus. I really love the look of OBT and Tom Moran's husbandry videos on H. pulchripes really makes me want one. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!

H pulchripes, but that may be a little pricey. The appearance even as a sling is very similar to the adult.

They are fairly straight forward to keep, typical terrestrial sling.

Here's the enclosure just after I finished building it but before I obtained the sling.

I'd recommend any of the Ceratogyrus species. They are more visible than such as the OBT.

Anything from the subfamily Harpactirinae. You wont be dissapointed.

Thank you everyone for your insight! I have been seeing H. pulchripes for under $100, that seemed reasonable to me, is it? Several on the list mentioned are definite candidates!

I recently got my first OW which is an A. ezendami sling, and its been easy taking care of it no problems yet (runs and hides instead of trying to bolt or bite). The colors on it are beautiful and its orangey like an OBT.
