She’s still getting over her moult on the 4th but has come out of her hide.

Xenesthis are beautiful! My sp. Blue after a moult are stunning! Mine are by far the most prone to kick hairs! My MM will kick or threaten with that rear end in the air if you touch his enclosure! My female is not quite as bad and far more calm! Does your Intermedia kick a lot??

I’m only laughing because that might be the most hairy we see her. When we got her she had a completely bald butt. The seller is well known in the UK and I trusted them but he did say she had a massive fit at being transported to a show. Clearly her molt has given her butt new life but I think she’s a big kicker. When we bought her home the entire substrate was covered in hairs.

Lol, I have been uber delicate with my male to try and keep him from kicking! Before he matured we would move him to feed him and Ohhhhh boy! The kicking goes through the roof once he got his meal! Literally as soon as you so much as touched the enclosure the hairs flew! I don't keep many new worlders, and the majority are Psalmopeous, but he's on another level. My LP is now over 7" DLS and isn't in the same league..lol . His counter part female is kicky but dang! Don't like bald bums.Lol. Guess why I have a lot of redline old worlders and Psalmopeous.

I've heard that a lot of Nahndu's are some serious kickers as well. I believe my T Albo would bite more than flick. Since I got her from Pet Smart and out the swamp she was in she calmed a lot! Size those fangs I won't tempt it!

My X. immanis has never kicked hairs. Neither of my Nhandus are kickers as well. My C. cyanopubescens on the other hand kicked up a storm when I rehoused them. No bald spot, but I thought there was going to be!

My GBB kicked some as a juvie but since she got past the 5" mark the kicking is almost non-existent! Once in awhile when she has her food like the male Xenesthis. Which Nahndu's do u have? I like the Tripepii but heard some of them are bad kickers and the hairs are supposed to be bad with those guys!

I have a N. tripepii and a N. coloratovillosus. They are definitely twitchy, but they go straight to their hides if you disturb them.

If I ever get me a Tripepii I hope mine behaves as yours..lol! One thing for sure is these guys have differing personalities within the same species so you never know! Only thing I never heard of yet is a calm Cyriopagopous. All mine full on hardcore!
