Boy I hope she is not stuck Rosehair123,
I'll just have to wait a little while longer and see what happens. I am now very glad I have pure coconut oil.
If that is what is in their soil it should not be harmful to her.

I had a sling that I received from someone,I guess hydration and care was incorrect since it got stuck in its molt. As a last resort,I dipped the brush in water and then proceeded to dab the affected area with the brush thus it came free. I am not saying it will work each time,it is an option. I used a small fine brush,I would suggest a soft tip brush and not apply too much pressure. The reason I am suggesting this is,due to the fact that molt seems way too long ongoing and will result in the end in death. This is just my observation, someone else may feel different. I got to this method by applying the same idea as by expanding a molt for sexing, the same mechanics applies since you are looking for the same result expanding old dry exoskeleton thus allowing the T to detach itself(my hypothesis).

Martin this method is not working either, any other things I can try???
Please there has to be something I can do for her...

I don't know what to say,I had hoped if trying that it would help a bit. Since a 3 day molt sounds extremely long,I had a similar situation maybe since the specimen I had was young I was maybe lucky but I have had another person using this with success. So all I can say is,I hope for the best and I would have really loved to have helped more since I can just imagine your worries and stress also I apologise for not being able to have helped.

Thank You Martin, I guess now it just might be time for her to go be with her owner.
It just feels like I did something wrong with her. I read and read, asked questions, everything.
I still feel so helpless.:(
You did help, just by your suggestion and willingness to try and help us, for that I Thank you....

No Christell, she is not changing at all. she is still laying on her back and is only moving a tiny bit now.
I am still just dabbing her leg tips and down, with a very soft tipped artists brush.
I think I have failed!:(
Thanks for asking about her Christell.....

Stop ! You have only failed if you purposely hurt the T,which you have not. Things like this happen, and it happens to the most experienced or newbie.

I will give you my philosophy

I do not look down on others, since I myself look up to others.

Hope that makes sense.

True spiders do not tend to die on the back. With that sand it has probably prevented her from molting for quite some time. now that sand is gone she probably went straight to the business of molting.
