Looking to set up a communal. I can get P vittatas for $11.00 or H gigas for $10. Never really bought slings so are those good prices. Martin, terror_corpz, please give me your opinion. I thought about doing one with something different, but thought better of it. I need to have one I can depend somewhat on, to learn first before going a different way.

Hello
I'd say read up on Poecilotheria Regalis, use that as a starting point. Try and get all of them as slings, and sack mates. Do not use too large containers to house, and use one hide. This is what had worked for me,if your ratio is say six when feeding add 10-12 feeders this usually eliminates food shortage for some not saying it will happen but working on some peoples comments.

I don't understand the attraction of a communal. There is too much risk of losing a few and you can't breed sack mates. I looked into it when I bought my 3 H incei but decided not to take the risk.

I don't understand the attraction to One Direction, or Star Wars, but I'm in the minority there. I don't tell those fans they are crazy to do it. I go on with my life. You don't have to understand it, thats your choice, but allow those that want to , to do it in peace.

The sad thing is that it's not the people that get hurt (Except for maybe their pockets), but it's the spiders that pay for it. :(
