I was thinking about ordering from mainland Europe, but it's cold over there now, and I'm a bit concerned about the delivery time in the colder wether.

On average it's around 5 days by post but some will courier them if you ask. I costs a bit more but worth it if you're ordering a few and they'd be sent out Friday and with you Saturday/Sunday travelling in a nice warm van.
