hi girls/guys lots for me to learn! my first T only had "scarlet" over a week but loving my new found adventure in tarantulas!

Welcome, healthy looking T however I wouldn't recommend misting the enclosure. If you cannot use a water bowl you could do what I do and just dampen a little patch of substrate. Sorry for pointing that out but you want to learn right :)

Hello Brian, welcome to the forum and the addictive hobby of T keeping.
Sweet looking T you have. As R.NUTT said no misting needed for this species, just a full water dish. They are from a dry environment and detest moist substrate. Also you will encounter mood swings and periods of fasting, lasting months at a time, normal traits for the species.
