Here's some random photos of rehousing some Poecilotheria males without a bathroom.

I use a catch cup and a bamboo skewer split so it's really thin.

Place the cup over the top of the old enclosure. (If your enclosure is too big for the cup place a piece of cardboard over the top of the enclosure and cut a hole out of the center for the catch cup, here's some examples).

Slide thin bamboo stick in between cup, enclosure or cardboard if your using it.

Gently persuade your spider up into the cup.

At this point you have two options. Gracefully place catch cup over new enclosure or slide cardboard underneath to move it to the new enclosure.

From here i give the spider a little puff of air from the lid of the catch cup and they usually run down. If not you can persuade it with the skewer.

Exactly the way I do it, I use a long zip tie, but thanks so much for documenting this in awesome, easy to follow detail!

Another good reason to change out those screen tops on your terrestrial spiders enclosures. Upon inspecting my spider room today I noticed my Lasiodora parahybana was missing. I've got a new project for today now.View attachment 61649View attachment 61650View attachment 61651

Yeah I've posted this in this thread before and on YouTube I've got a video. I knew she was trying to get out but was putting it off. :D
