Hello all,
I just got a new baby Emperor yesterday.
I’ve never kept scorpions before.
I’m hoping to keep him or her for a long time and I have them still housed in the deli cup he came in.
I was wondering if I should give him live food or prekill? The guy at the shop said I could leave live crickets in with him but I’m a little Leary of that.
He’s about an inch in size.
Any advice on the next move?

I'm pretty sure emperor scorps live in the old world

Feeding prekilled might work better because it might be settling in from the move, if it doesn't eat you can take it out and try again later.

I have a few smaller scorps & always feed them appropriately sized live crickets.

Fair enough, it’s all new to me, though.

This is what I did, I kept an eye on him and he took it down and went to town. So live little crickets it is!

Yea he/she went after the live cricket. I’ll stick with that. So far so good.
