Get back jack . Is that a giant worm he's eating? And if it is a giant wormy thing, Is it alive? I'm asking cuz I have spiderlings and I'm wondering about feeding them things like that that are alive. I don't want my spiralings to get hurt

I prekill and just hand my jumpers their food 99% of the time. I dont like them thrashing around. It could injure them or knock scales off and mess up the colors.

i crush the mealworm's head and pinch in several sections of the body so it cant harm the spider. they're actually supposed to hang from a thread during the kill, which stops their prey from getting leverage and smashing them into the ground or walls.
