I looked at my B. auratum about 30 min. Prior to taking this photo and said to my daughter “This little one is dark. Will probably molt soon.” Didn’t know I was gonna be that on the nose about it.
Felicity, a polite way of saying Flick, molted earlier today. The hairs were even worse on the molt & several of us have needed antihistamines. Thanks flick. I did not mess about with the molt much & could not straighten the legs out fully, but I now know she is an easy 9.5 inches DLS.
